A winter warmer for ice cream firm.

Festive flavours are giving Criterion Ices, of Thurston, a seasonal boost.

The firm's stem ginger, brandy and orange, cinnamon and honey and gold medal vanilla are selling well in the winter chill.

Paul Myatt, operations director at the firm, said: "We set out to make really tasty, warming Christmas ice creams - cinnamon has always been associated with Christmas and brandy is a vital festive flavour in brandy butter."
