Banned Books Week events
Local notables will read from their favorite banned books during a "Read Out" as part of monthly Troy Night Out festivities at 6 p.m. Friday at 277 River St., Troy.
The event is organized by the New York Civil Liberties Union Capital Region Chapter as part of Banned Books Week. Participating bibliophiles will ask audience members to identify the excerpts' sources.
